Child Watch
Punctual and regular attendance is important for each child to receive the maximum benefit from regular daily instruction. We encourage students to avoid taking vacations while school is in session.
The Childwatch Program was started a few years ago to help ensure your child’s safety. If your child is home sick or will be late to school for any reason, please call and leave a message on the school voice mail, 916-3625. If your child is marked absent and we haven’t heard from you, we will call to verify his or her absence. Please remember to call if your child won’t be at school!
Students who are tardy should report to the office for a tardy slip. If your child has been absent or tardy, please send a written note with your child explaining the reason for the absence or tardiness.
When it is necessary for you to pick up your child before the regular dismissal time, please come to the school office. If you are sending someone else to pick up your child, please notify the office and have them report to the office. We will not release your child to anyone who is not listed on the registration form.
