Join us Friday, February 26th, 2010 at the Melody Ballroom for our 11th annual auction.  Our auction is our main fundraiser, allowing us to offer a comprehensive curriculum of PE, music and literacy support for our kids.  Invitations will arrive at your home in early February.

This year's theme is the Mad Hatter Ball. Wear the craziest hat you can find to be part of the festivities!

There will be live entertainment and specialty cocktails available. Parking is free in the three lots closest to the Melody Ballroom.

This years items will include a stay at a condo on Maui, a weekend in Disneyland, a Vespa scooter (pictured below), and a trip to Knott's Berry Farm. Click here to see this years auction catalog.

This years menu will include:

• Appetizers: Chicken skewers with sundried tomatoes and olives; prosciutto and prawns skewers; and stuffed mushrooms a la Alice (one side makes you smaller and the other makes you tall)
• Salad: spinach with blue cheese and craisins on the side; poppyseed raspberry dressing
• Entree: Stuffed pork roast; chicken tagine and mushrooms en croute
• Side dishes: garlic smashed potatoes and green beans
• Bread: sliced assorted artisan breads, including olive bread from Grand Central
• Dessert: Coffee and cupcakes from St. Cupcake

We'll also be serving two specialty cocktails:

The Mad Hatter

• 1 part Yuzu Luxe Puree from Aloha Juice company. Yuzu Luxe is a blend of yuzu juice, kaffir lime and lemongrass.
• 0.5 parts ginger syrup
• 0.5 parts lemon juice
• 1 part vodka
• Serve in a chilled martini glass with a sugared rim and a slice of fresh orange.

The Cheshire Cat

• 1 part Corazon puree from Aloha juice company. El Corazon is passionfruit, blood orange and pomegranate.
• 1 part lime juice
• Simple syrup to taste
• 1 part rum
• Serve chilled with twist of lime

What is an easel party? An easel party is a party or activity scheduled for a specific date and for a specific number of people. Tickets to easel parties are sold on an individual basis at the auction. These parties sell out fast...so check your calendar before the auction and arrive ready to sign up during the silent auction. Select easel parties may be sold prior to or following the auction as well. Watch for details in the newsletter and in the main school hallway.
